Coffee and your health

There are a lot of misconceptions about coffee and health. Coffee is very good for you. It's packed full of anti-oxidants and studies are showing coffee consumption can play a role in preventing some kinds of cancer and diabetes. Health Canada has put together a great website that explores the relationship of coffee and health and clears up many misconceptions.

Where Our Arabica Coffee is from:

At Transcend we believe in sourcing great Arabica coffee beans from all over the world. To accomplish this, we have partnered with importers like Elan Organic Coffees based out of San Diego and Mercanta Coffee out of London, UK who are committed to the same goals that we are. In conjunction with these importers we have increasing direct access to some of the finest Arabica coffee beans from across the globe. Transcend Coffee is also a member of the Cup of Excellence program and the Specialty Coffee Association of America.

Our committment to always roasting the best fresh Arabica specialty coffee beans provides our customers with the guarantee of amazing quality. We have grown to focus mostly on Arabica coffees as single origin coffees but we have been known, on occasion, to blend up some of our great coffees to create a more complex and unique taste.
