Story

This amazing Ethiopian coffee originates from the Amaro region in Ethiopia within the boundaries of the Nechisar National Park. Asnakech Thomas is one of the most inspiring figures in Ethiopian coffee today.

Native to the Amaro region, Asnakech decided in 2005 to return to her homeland and to have an influence on coffee quality improvement at her mill and in local communities. She is the only female miller to-date in
Ethiopia, and is one of the few people to travel weekly between Addis and the coffee areas.

This is a naurally processed coffee, which means the whole coffee cherries are dried and fermented in the sun. Once the optimal moisture content has been reached, the coffee is dry milled before it's ready for market. This tends to bring out the natural fruity characteristics and sweetness in the cup.
