The Technivorm line of drip coffee makers are the only ones to receive the Specialty Coffee Association of America's endorsement. Why you ask? The answer is in the hot water; in fact, to properly brew coffee, the water needs to be over 200 degrees F and the Technivorm coffee maker products achieve this water temperature.
The Original "Smitdesign" hand-built by Technivorm of Amerongen, the Netherlands is a high quality product imported directly from the Netherlands with the distinction of being individually inspected.

What makes the Technivorm the best home brewer in the world? It comes down to three things:

Heat
The Technivorm quickly heats water to 200˚F and keeps it there for the duration of the brew cycle. This high and constant water temperature is needed to get the optimal flavour extraction from your coffee.
Speed
The Technivorm's brew cycle finishes in about six minutes. That's much shorter than other brewers, and better for your coffee.
Quality of build
All of our Technivorms are hand-built in Holland, imported directly by Transcend Coffee, and personally inspected by our director of operations before we ship them to you. These machines are incredibly solid, well put-together, and and easy to use.
